Hi, I’m Hong Tham — the person behind The Garden Atlas.
Hong Tham
Hong Tham – Content Writer
I’m a content writer and gardening enthusiast with a deep passion for helping people transform any space — big or small — into a garden they truly love.

My gardening journey started over 3 years ago when I began experimenting with container herbs on a small balcony. What started as a humble pot of basil quickly turned into an obsession — I went on to grow vegetables, ornamental plants, and eventually redesigned a full backyard garden from scratch. I’ve made plenty of mistakes along the way, and that’s exactly what makes me the guide I wish I’d had when I was starting out.

Why I Built This Site

There’s no shortage of gardening content online — but a lot of it is either too vague, too academic, or written by people who’ve never actually gotten their hands dirty. I created The Garden Atlas for everyday gardeners: first-timers trying to keep their first plant alive, homeowners who want a beautiful backyard oasis on a realistic budget, and anyone who simply loves being surrounded by greenery.

Every article I publish is a guide I genuinely wish existed when I was learning.
